Inner Parkside

Generally defined as 14th to 19th Avenues, and along the alphabetically named streets from Ortega to Wawona (to the corner of Stern Grove), this section of the city’s western side is farther south than the Sunset District and closer to the ocean. Taraval Street is where the L Muni train runs through and the attractive commercial strip of West Portal is handy for shopping.Nearby Dianne Feinstein Elementary School and Abraham Lincoln High School are both highly-rated.
