As the name suggests, water is a feature of the Marina District. San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and the lagoon beside the romantic Palace of Fine Arts are eye candy. The grassy expanses of Marina Green, Crissy Field and the Presidio are a giant backyard. Festivals, fair, food trucks and a farmer’s market are regular occurrences at Fort Mason and Chestnut Street has everything one needs, including an Apple store.
