Mission Dolores

It was 1776 when the first Spanish settlers stumbled upon a creek and decided this was the very best spot to call home. The city’s oldest structure and the hippest park share the district which narrowly escaped the Great Fire of 1906, best appreciated in the surviving 19th century architecture around Liberty Hill.  BART is handy, commuters have quick access to Highway 80, 101 and 280...and there’s plenty of choice for evenings out. Since it’s sunnier in the Mission, this neighborhood has a lot going in its favor.
