Just minutes from Stonestown Galleria, Parkside is a small neighborhood bordering the Sunset District and West Portal, boasting more parks than any other similarly sized part of the city. Known as the home to the free Stern Grove Festival concerts, it’s mainly residential, with well-kept 30s and 40s one-story detached and semi-detached homes with small front yards.

Parkside has a public branch library, Lincoln High School, and the L Taraval of the Muni Metro to serve the neighborhood.
