Western Addition

From the Fillmore District’s Jazz Festival to Japantown’s Ramen one, Western Addition covers a large parcel of the city west of Van Ness Avenue reaching out to the panhandle of Golden Gate Park and north to California Street. The Western Addition is generally broken into smaller neighborhoods, for example: Nopa, Anza, Lone Mountain, Lower Haight, Lower Pacific Heights, due to the diverse nature of residential areas within its multi-cultural, overlapping boundaries.
